Entrepreneurs are drowning in advice.

“Post every day.”
“Do webinars.”
“Run challenges.”
“Start a podcast.”
“Go big on YouTube.”
“No, go big on LinkedIn.”
“Sell high-ticket.”
“No, start low-ticket first.”

At some point, business can turn into a full-time Simon Says game.

And your business will go backwards.

You end up building someone else’s version of a business… instead of your own.

You feel exhausted, always behind, imposter-ish, and like you should be doing more.

You can’t do enough to ever feel ahead.

This issue isn’t productivity; it’s the absence of inner guidance in your decision-making.

I know this pattern too well!

When our son was first recovering from his accident and traumatic brain injury, the advice came pouring in. I literally asked for it. Everyone meant well. They brought me suggestions, protocols, supplements, therapies, devices, diets, and miracle cures.

There was a part of me that thought I should try everything. What if I overlooked the thing that would’ve made the biggest difference?
What if I missed a window of opportunity?
What if I chose the wrong thing?

But I didn’t have the capacity to research everything or the time to try 50 different things. And pushing myself to find the best solutions wasn’t going to create a different outcome.

So, I had to do the thing most entrepreneurs avoid:

I trusted what felt right and true to ME.

I didn’t worry about hurting people’s feelings. I went against what many medical professionals told us. And I had to let go of thinking I’d screw up my son’s chances of a full recovery.

I chose the things my inner guidance felt strongly pulled toward.

And I let the rest go.

And he keeps getting better. Every day.

How this works in your business…

Your business will expand faster when you stop trying to do everything and start trusting the handful of moves that feel deeply right for you.

Your inner guidance already knows your best strategies. Sure, you may need help executing, but you KNOW what feels good and exciting.

But what feels best may get drowned out by:

  • Fear of missing out
  • Being afraid of choosing wrong
  • Comparison
  • “But so-and-so says…”

What got my son through (and what will grow your business) is choosing what felt aligned… and not letting panic make your choices for you.

How to Check in With Your Own Inner Guidance

  1. Pause before reacting.
When you hear a new idea or strategy, feel into how it lands in your body. (My solar plexus never lies!)
  2. Ask yourself:
Does this feel calm, grounded, and true? Or does it feel pressured, urgent, and fear-based?
  3. Notice your body.
Your nervous system tells the truth before your mind does.
  4. Pick one thing at a time.
    Mastery beats clutter. Every time.
  5. Trust that nothing meant for you passes you by.
There are no missed boats in business. There’s only alignment or misalignment. The timing will work itself out.

And you don’t need to listen to every expert… just the ones that fully resonate with you. And you still want to pass their advice through your soul-filter.

The #1 expert you can ALWAYS trust is your inner guidance.
