I’d heard about 6- and 7-figure online launches for years. I dreamed of pulling in that much prosperity in a short time frame, but the ins and outs of doing that kind of launch felt totally out of my league.

I’m just a business coach, not a wiz marketer… so why try?

My mentor told me he believed I could totally do it and that I wouldn’t stress out if I planned ahead.

So, I did what every entrepreneur who wanted to reenergize her business would do. I said, “What the heck, I’ll do it!”

Less than a year after that decision, I did my first 6-figure launch and my bookkeeper informed me that my bottom line had increased 83 percent for the year!

And guess what? I loved it, every bit of it.

These are my “wish-I’d-known-that” secrets no one shared with me before I did my first 6-figure launch.

  • That it could be fun. Nobody mentioned this because most people don’t have fun during their launch. They’re only focused on making fast money and end up stressing themselves out. I made my focus about mastering areas of my business that I had backed away from previously. If I knew it could be this easy and fun, I’d have done a launch decades ago. I could’ve bypassed my profit roller coaster too.
  • It changes who you are as a business owner. I became more confident, smarter, and bolder. Heck, I’d do a launch just for this reason alone. Launching is a huge personal growth experience.
  • Block out lots of time during and after your launch for customer service for your potential and new customers. I didn’t have salespeople on my team, so it was me helping people evaluate if my program was a good fit for them. I was juggling that huge demand, plus teaching classes, coaching, and trying to hang at my mom’s lake house with the kids. It was truly energizing but also a bit nutty!
  • Be flexible. Even with the best-made launch plans, you’ll want to change things during the launch, sometimes daily, based on results and feedback. It’s not bad to change strategies in the middle of a launch; it’s smart.
  • Your team needs to be on call to help. You’ll have a surge of activity during that 1- to 3-week launch period. Marketing, tech issues, customer service, affiliate requests, and all sorts of stuff you don’t normally deal with will be happening all at once in a big way.

Launching is exhilarating. People love the value of what you’re offering so you’ll get tons of positive feedback. Plus, it’s super crazy fun to make a pile of money in a short amount of time.

Launching was the most fun I’d ever had in my business in 16 years! If you want to get known, make a massive difference, and attract big money this coming year, plan an online launch!
