So you’re doing the things to put your business out there. You feel productive and maybe you’re even doubling down.

But still, your business results are flat. It’s starting to feel that it’s not worth the effort you’re putting in.

Cue the inner gremlins.

“I’ve tried everything.”
“Maybe I’m not meant to do this.”
“What else am I supposed to do?”

If that’s where your head is at, you’re not alone. I felt that way just a few months ago.

Plateaus are sneaky. They make it feel like nothing you do matters. They suck your mojo up like a Dyson vacuum.

It’s easy to panic and start searching for a strategic breakthrough. But you don’t need one.

Plateaus happen when your energy, actions, and identity aren’t syncing up with what you say you want. But do you even know what you want anymore, or are you consumed with what you don’t want?

With a few practical steps you begin to feel relief. Relief from the pressure can give you the head space to see your next step more clearly.

Here’s where to start when you’re in a “WTF is going on?” moment in business…

  1. Declare You’re in a Transition

This isn’t the end. It’s an in-between spot, and it can be the catalyst for the phoenix rise.
Sometimes what got you here really did work, but it’s not designed to take you further. Acknowledge the discomfort of that. Then decide: I’m not stuck. I’m gonna (insert desire).

You’ll instantly start reclaiming your power.

  1. Strip Things Down to the Essentials

When business isn’t moving, most entrepreneurs add more stuff to their plate. More offers, marketing, and pushing content. And that just creates more pressure. The key to clarity is LESS pressure.

Tune into…

  • What feels heavy? Am I willing to let it go?
  • What am I doing out of fear or obligation?
  • Where am I trying to force results?

Then simplify by choosing one priority. One offer. One clear focus for the next 30 days.
Simplicity invites flow. Flow creates results.

  1. Take Aligned Micromoves

When the big wins aren’t showing up, small aligned actions can feel pointless. But they are everything.

Reach out to one potential client. Update one part of a sales page. Say one thing in your content that reflects your true opinion. Take one 15-minute walk to clear your head before writing that email.

Each micromove increases your mojo. Increased confidence leads to fresh ideas. One degree shifts move you onto your 5-star path.

  1. Get Your Brain Out of the Way

Overthinking is a problem. But so is reacting without thinking.

Be intentional.

Before you start your day, ask your Inner Business Expert (you have one)…

What would the calm, confident version of me prioritize today?

Then act on that… even if it doesn’t look productive on paper.
This is how you tap into innovation and inspiration without chasing your tail.

  1. Choose Your Identity Upgrade

Plateaus don’t just come from strategy or a slow economy. The root cause are your beliefs.

They come from the invisible limits of who you believe you are and what you’re allowed to receive.

If you want new results, you have to become the version of you who creates them.

Here are a few tried-and-true daily prompts to help:

  • Who do I need to become to make this easy?
  • What am I choosing to experience now that I wasn’t before?
  • What’s one bold move my future self would make with no hesitation?

Decide who you’re becoming and being to embody their mindset, decisions, and action.

Plateaus don’t happen overnight. So don’t put pressure on yourself to hurry up and move out of one. Take it one day at a time.

Remember that appreciation can be a powerful catalyst to improved results. Practice finding five things in your business each day that are working well. The more you appreciate, the more positive evidence you’ll attract.

You can make a big comeback from rock bottom in a very short time… just don’t watch the clock and it’ll go a lot faster.

I believe in you. And so do your future 5-Star Clients.
